Food was quick but cost me over €25, I was surprised to see a can of Fanta cost €3.30 and a portion of chips is €5.50. Completely get prices have gone up everywhere but this place is insane. Food was better before, wish I'd gone to Leo Burdocks tbh
The fish was greasy and didn’t taste at all. There was not enough sauce for the dry fries and fish. That quality for 16,5€ is just horrible. Never again
The worst salmon and haddock we have ever had. Wet, mediocre salmon, terrible batter on the haddock. We shall not return here. We also visited the kingfisher fish restaurant here in Dublin. The Kingfisher’s food was exceptionally good.
A great harking back to the bygone original style Fish n Chips café/restaurant eras with excellent food & truly great staff. The batter (though greasy of course being deep fried) is remarkably light & flavoursome, the chips are solid chunky & tasty & the VARIETY of fish on offer elevates this place head & shoulders over the competition. Unfortunately it's NOT wheelchair friendly as toilets are downstairs & the ground floor area is cramped. They may have a lift but I'm not sure about that.
The ambience - especially upstairs from where you can oversee O'Connell St makes this an outstanding fish cafe in Dublin. For anything different you'd have to go to Howth with its premier fish restaurants.
Exceptional full Irish breakfast, all the staff were nice and lovely, I definitely want to return, the price is more than fair, the food was delicious 100000/10
A nice place with delicious food. Perfect for lunch. Service very kind and fast. The restaurant itself nice and clean with a great view over the street when u taka a sit upstairs.
Got goujons and chips
The goujons were very hard and crispy, overdone and the chips weren't fantastic, slightly underdone.
The service was fine
There was a group in just after us and they were in and out while we ate. They left the door open every time and I was freezing also all staring at our food while we ate I assume to see if they wanted to order.
I'm sorry to say I wouldn't go back.
my first time trying fish and chips started off with low expectations, but Beshoff’s cod managed to surpass them. chips weren’t anything out of this world, but the cod was crispy outside and INCREDIBLY tender on the inside. the housemade sauce made it 5x better.
some of the downsides were that it has this ‘chain-restaurant’ feel to it that i don’t dig as much, and it seemed a bit pricey to me (almost 16 euros just for the plate), but given that the ration is surprisingly abundant, i won’t complain!
Came once as it’s claimed to be top 10 in the city and will never be back again. Fish tastes frozen and not properly cooked, cold and mushy in the middle. Service staff very unfriendly.
Fettig und super teuer. Maximal unterdurchschnittliches Essen.
Soggy and very greasy cod and onion rings tasted like they had been thrown into cold oil, sold above average market prices but of a lower than average quality. Very nice interior and atmosphere though and fascinating history behind the place. Massive potential
A fuir.
good fish and chip with vegetables
good beers
Excellent fish and chips !
It is inevitable of Dublin. Especially as it is impossible to take a trip to Ireland without tasting fish and chips. Those there are very good with a fine choice. I see recommend this place

Vermeiden!!!
Tastee like the Halibut I get in Canada. Meant to ask if they did gluten free batter.
Pommes okay, aber auch nicht dolle.
