STF Visby/Rävhagen's hostels and cottages are pleasantly situated in a forest clearing on the eastern outskirts of Visby, about 2 km from the Visby ring road. The rooms are divided between the two wings on either side of the reception. Simple comfort but all clean and the breakfast buffet is relatively well stocked. A total of 154 beds are available (in rooms, cottages, cabins), perfect for large groups!

The 1 hotel, opened in 2006, has the charm of these small, caring and welcoming family institutions and will delight those who want to stay quietly and close to all the city's attractions. There is no continuous service here, but breakfast is included in the price and the rooms are very beautiful, modern and functional (ironing table, minibar…). A very friendly welcome for this good address.

Located at the corner of Kilgränd and Strandgatan streets on Donnersplats Square, this four-story cream-colored building houses 134 rooms in a palace-like setting. Upon entering, the vaulted ceiling, cobblestone floor and a street lamp evoke a medieval street. Overlooking the glass roof or the pedestrian streets and red roofs, the rooms are in the style of the 1850s or 1900s: large beds covered with white lace quilts, light wood floors, walls decorated with paintings. The basement, with its colonnades and fountains, houses the swimming pool and sauna.

This hotel, which also offers apartments for rent, is located inside the walls, in a 1862 house, in the small park Ameldalen just opposite the sea.

The hostel has a history dating back to the late 19th century. "Jernväg" means railway in Swedish and it was the place where travellers from different parts of Gotland stayed when the train stopped in Visby. Today it is a budget hotel located in the heart of the old town and in the same building as the Villa Borgen Hotel. The hostel has six rooms, all with access to showers, toilets and a fully equipped shared kitchen (with dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, microwave and terrace).

On the corner of a narrow cobbled street with no sidewalk, the entrance, abundantly flowered, leads to a quiet establishment. The 28 very clean rooms, with a slightly old-fashioned charm, have crocheted bedspreads and lace curtains on the windows. Shower, telephone, cable TV and refrigerator in each room. For the breakfast buffet, homemade bread and jams, delicious. The hotel has an old-fashioned charm and a three-star standing, and offers a certain freshness and a touch of modernity in the heart of the old medieval town.

This discreet 18th century villa, with white walls and honeysuckle windows, is nestled in the untidy vegetation of a small rose-filled garden. The garden-facing rooms have larger windows and are the most charming. All of them (there are 16) are equipped with shower, toilet, TV and minibar. If you need anything, the competent staff will be happy to help you. In the bright dining room, a healthy and tasty breakfast is served every morning.
