With 90,000 inhabitants, Norrköping is one of the country's largest cities. It is known as the Manchester of the North, because of its old textile industries in the city centre, which have become one of the city's landmarks, as the buildings house, in addition to the university campus and some high-tech companies, the City Museum (Stadsmuseet) and the Labour Museum (Arbetets Museum). You will notice that Norrköping has its own trams, and the oldest of them, the 100-year-old Gamla Ettan, takes you on a guided tour of the city. In the vicinity, the most famous attraction is Kolmårdens Zoo, especially its tropicarium and dolphinarium.
