Last but not least, Göteborg is a resolutely forward-looking city which, through major urban development projects, aims to consolidate its position as a metropolis. The symbol of this transformation is Karlatornet, a 246-metre skyscraper due for delivery in 2024, which boasts the distinction of being the tallest tower in Scandinavia.
