As a tourist, you'd never think of visiting a public library. Yet it's on the second floor that you'll find one of Gothenburg's most pleasant cafés. The best time to visit is when the weather is fine, when you can enjoy the small (and often sunny) terrace overlooking the opera house, the Götaplatsen fountain and the Fine Arts Museum.
