Located in the middle of the pines on the edge of the small lake Talvatissjön, this luxury hotel with a red wooden facade is mostly frequented by businessmen and hunters. The rooms are clean and bright but the bathrooms are rather rudimentary. The sauna, free of charge, is located in a small chalet on the edge of a lake. In the basement there is a gym and a relaxation room with a fireplace. The restaurant, with bay windows overlooking the lake, is sparkling and specializes in local fish and meat dishes. No service at lunchtime.

This station no longer belongs to the STF network but to the owner of the beautiful Hellsten Hotel in Stockholm. Comfort has been improved and hotel standard rooms have been added to the dormitories and hostel style rooms. Two large Falun redwood buildings planted on the banks of a tumultuous river and a magical vastness... Prices remain affordable, and the place is just as busy. It is a strategic crossing point for any hiker. We stop there gladly, for a night or two, to recharge our batteries, surrounded by nature and nothing else.

Close to the lake, in a shady setting, this vast 4-star campsite is ideal for families. Free children's playground, swimming pool and water games. Like all Swedish campsites, we particularly appreciate our proximity to nature, our calm and well-kept surroundings. Tents and caravans are available at an affordable price, while cabins are more expensive, but ideal for comfort seekers. Some even have an adjoining sauna! A beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing stay, in a city emblematic of Saami culture.
