Things to see and do Härnösand

On the eastern side of the Härnön peninsula, 5 km from the city centre, there is a long white sandy beach bordered by steep rocks. Protected by the Smitingen nature reserve, this beach is isolated from urban noise pollution, yet remains very accessible. Signposted paths lead to caves and coarse pebble beaches, as well as to the beautiful Klubbsjön lake. There is a café on the beach for your midday hunger. If you don't have a car, you can also get there by bike in only 25 minutes from the city centre!
