Midnattsloppet Stockholm is an annual 10 km race on the island of Södermalm. The start is usually on Ringvägen (outside the Zinkensdamms IP track) and the finish on Hornsgatan. The course is quite difficult, especially the hill leading to the church of Sofia. If you don't want to participate in the 10 km course, you have the option to do only the 5 km. A festive race accompanies this marathon, called Maskerad, where you run in costume! Visit their website to learn more.
