Founded in 1674 on the initiative of Baron Claes Rålamb, then Governor of Stockholm, it is the oldest auction house in the world still in operation. Several times a year in Nybrogatan's showrooms in central Stockholm, high quality items are auctioned off. With branches in Gothenburg and Malmö, Stockholms Auktionsverk is considered a "trading room" for Swedish and international art, applied art, antiques and design.

Si vous aimez les antiquités, objets plus récents, tapis persans ou simplement faire des enchères, rendez vous dans les diverses enchères proposées par cette maison de vente. Prix souvents chers et évidemment surplus de payements en pourcentage à ajouter aux achats mais si vous chercher des objets suédois ou autres, c'est un endroit qui peu être intéressant.
