Savé is a town that has developed at the foot of the hills, here bare, which the inhabitants call the "udders" of Savé, because of their rather ambiguous shape. The city is also at the center of a Yoruba kingdom headed by an Oba, a crowned king who is a direct descendant of the king of Ifé, the only other such kingdom being that of Kétou.
