An erotic Hindu temple built on terraces in Surakarta, to get there you have to cross the pleasant tea fields.

Erotic Hindu temple dating from the same period as Candi Sukuh. It is 600 metres higher up and built on terraces. Unfortunately, its sculptures are no longer present. Crossing the tea fields is a very pleasant experience. The journey from Surakarta takes some time, around three and a half hours. Several agencies in Solo, as well as in Yogyakarta, organize excursions that include Candi Ceto and Candi Sukuh, as well as a mountain hike on the slopes of Mount Lawu.
