Sensitive natural site with valley and forest hiking trails, a few kilometers from Caen
Between Caen and Thury-Harcourt, on a vast wooded expanse criss-crossed by hiking trails, you can reach the Val via the voie verte or on foot through the forest. Crossed by the Orne River and its bridges, the valley floor boasts lush green riverbanks where it's a pleasure to stop. Tip: take the forest itinerary from the Ste Anne parking lot (little frequented) to trail down to the Ste Anne chapel, then access the Val via the bridge and the greenway.
