The atmosphere is at its best early in the morning and late in the afternoon. Early morning is the best time to catch a glimpse of the fish arriving, and choose from crabs, lobsters and local fish such as the local grouper called "hammour" (pronounced "love") or the rabbit fish "siganus rivulatus" or "siganus luridus", locally known as safi and abundant in the waters of the Gulf.
