Remarkable enclave 110 km south-east of Ajman featuring peaks, grandiose enclosed valleys, a fort and a museum.

Located 110 km southeast of Ajman, this enclave is remarkable for its natural heritage. In the heart of the mountains rise the peaks of Dafta, Madeerah (the White Mountain), Leshan and Abu Faraj. The enclosed valleys are equally impressive, as in Ghalfa, Leshan, Al-Sawamir, Al-Khanfarih and Al-Dafdi. Famous for its colorful marble and its fort, the milder climate makes it an excellent destination for excursions. In 2022, a museum was opened near the fort on the theme of the daily life of the mountain dwellers.
