ZAYED HERITAGE CENTER

Along the canals of the western lagoon, enter the Zayed Centre for Studies and Research. This presidential museum traces the life of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan (born around 1918, died in 2004), heir to the leadership of the Bani Yas family of Liwa, named after his grandfather Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa who ruled from 1855 to 1909.
