Canada has a strong and growing diplomatic, political and economic relationship with the United Arab Emirates. Bilateral trade increased by 24% last year and reached a new high of $2.5 billion. The UAE is already home to 150 innovative Canadian companies. The Canadian Embassy seeks to consolidate the many partnerships between the two countries. It has been instrumental in the development of the Canada-UAE Business Council. It also serves the Canadian community, especially in Dubai.
