One third of the 30,000 French people living in the UAE reside in Abu Dhabi. They work in more than 600 French subsidiaries, both in large CAC 40 groups and in SMEs and ETIs. The French Embassy in Abu Dhabi is at their service. It also maintains diplomatic, economic and cultural relations with its host country. Please note that since September^1, 2019, the Consulate General of France in Dubai is the only competent authority for the administration of French nationals established in the United Arab Emirates.
