A large park in Billund with some 50 sensational attractions: the X-Plorer snowmobile, Apocalypseburg Sky Battle, etc.
It is advisable to arrive early in the morning: in summer, the park sometimes opens its doors around 9:30 am, because many people are waiting, like you, to dive back into the world of Lego games! A great amusement park that displays its values: creativity, play and child development.
The park, which is constantly expanding, includes about fifty sensational attractions (the X-Plorer snowmobile or Apocalypseburg Sky Battle, a plane that flies 14 meters high!) For the youngest among you, discover the Duplo universe or Emmet's flying sofa. Numerous themes are explored, which can be found elsewhere in other theme parks, such as cowboys, Indians or pirates... In 2023, make way for medieval knights and tournaments with Battle of the Bricks! From childhood nostalgia for the older kids to the conversion of today's Lego to computer software for the new generation, Legoland is sure to appeal to the whole family (according to official calculations, the average time spent there is 6 hours!).
It was a huge success from the moment it opened in 1968: 600,000 people came through the gates and there was only one entrance and two toilets..
There are now other Legoland parks in the world: in England, 35 km from London, near Windsor Castle, in the United States, in Carlsbad, near San Diego, in southern California and Winter Haven in Florida, in Germany, near Munich, in Nusajaya in Malaysia and the brand new park in Dubai, opened in October 2016.
Nous avons adoré ce parc, d'une taille abordable, avec des activités variées pour toute la famille. Nos fils sont de grands fans de Lego et donc là, c'était le paradis.
Le personnel est très sympathique, les enfants sont les rois.
Les files d'attentes n'étaient pas trop importantes malgré que l'on soit en plein mois d'août.
Nous avions fait le choix de dormir dans l'hôtel avec accès direct au parc. Un bon choix qui permet de profiter au maximum du parc. Les chambres à thème sont formidables.
Elles ont été enchantées de ces deux jours passés dans le parc. C'est mieux qu'EuroDisney, ont-elles dit. C'est vrai que ce parc est moins tape à l’œil, plus convivial et familial que certains autres. les jeux et animations sont variés, il y en a pour tout le monde. Nous avons été particulièrement gâté par une météo presque méditerranéenne et elle ont pu profiter des jeux d'eau. En bonus, des villages entiers et des sculptures reconstitués en Légos!
Pour l’anecdote, j'avais perdu mon porte-monnaie dans un "grand 8"; quelqu'un l'a rapporté intact (argent, CB, CI...) à l'accueil: je me demande si ce serait arrivé en France!
