BUNKER DE RÖMÖ

After crossing the Rømø dike (Rømødæmningen), discover the secret Rømø bunker. Built during the occupation to house state-of-the-art communications technology, this highly strategic military position is now open to walkers. Nestled between dunes and forest, the remains stretch for several kilometers. For history buffs wishing to discover all their secrets, guided tours are available (please book in advance).
