RIBE VIKINGS MUSEUM (VIKINGER MUSEET RIBES)

The Vikings built a real city on the other side of the river Å, of which nothing remains, but which is said to be the first city built in Scandinavia (around 700). Excavations have brought to light some interesting remains on display in this museum. Don't hesitate to watch the film of about 15 minutes, translated into French. Ask at the reception. Important shop offering glasses, linen, Viking jewellery (and even a drink made according to a recipe of the time: the mjød).
