Mennesket ved havet - Man meets the sea. This is the name given by the sculptor Svend Wiig Hansen to this monumental ensemble, installed on the road leading to Hjerting: four concrete creatures, 9 m high. White giants sitting hieratically facing the sea since 1996. Their impressive build, the heads of serial robots, their brilliance stands out in this industrial zone landscape. They were inspired by the monolithic figures of Easter Island. Very photogenic!

Impressionnant et insolite, une monumentalité d'une blancheur immaculée qui tranche sur le ciel bleu. Il faut venir très tôt ou très tard si l'on souhaite photographier le site sans parasite humain. On est ici encore dans le règne du selfie et de la photo souvenir avec personnages obligés.

Un œuvre monumentale qui m'a tout simplement laissée bouche bée. Trônant fièrement sur le bord de mer, l'endroit est parfait pour s'évader le temps d'une soirée.
