At the exit of the village, this imposing abbey was built in 1168 by Hugues Wac, a descendant of a companion of William the Conqueror. Most of the buildings visible today date from the 13th and 14th centuries. In the refectory, you can see the tombstones of the lords of Argouges and a beautiful collection of glazed tiles from the Pré-d'Auge. There is also a delightful monastic garden. In 2019, the abbey received a visit from Stéphane Bern for the Heritage Lotto.
