Christiania attracts the curious and for good reason: it is a free city in the city of Copenhagen! The story began in 1971 when a few residents decided to illegally occupy a former military base. Since then, they have been fighting to maintain their independence because Christiania's future is often threatened. They therefore set up a local assembly to represent them before the political administration. The locals are delighted to welcome tourists who can support them by buying their cheap and... original handicrafts!

Quartier complètement à part. Quand on arrive on a l'impression d'être dans un autre monde.
Colorés, un peu "bidonville", quartier à voir lorsque l'on visite Copenhague.
Nous avons traversé ce quartier à vélo et nous le conseillons.

Le guide conseillait d'y aller donc nous sommes allés faire un tour à Christiana, certains tags sont sympathiques mais on n'a pas spécialement raffolé de cette visite. Beaucoup de saleté etc contrairement au reste de la ville
