VICTORIAN HOUSE (KLUNKEHJEMMET)
Authentic Victorian house with red velvet tassels and a multitude of well-preserved objects.
Visit an authentic Victorian house and its bourgeois interior, thanks to the National Museum. Built in 1850, it was bought by the industrialist Rudolf Christensen in 1886. He settled with his wife on the noble floor of the residence. The best designers of the time participated in its furnishing. In a world upholstered in red velvet with tassels (klunkehjem means "the house of tassels"!), we discover a multitude of very well preserved objects!
