Originally known as Folkets Hus, Vega was built in 1956 to a plan by Vilhelm Lauritzen, architect of Copenhagen Airport. After a complete renovation, the hall reopened in 1996. Still very popular in Vesterbro, this intimate Musikkens Hus (music house) attracts platinum and decibel enthusiasts. Its architecture is marked by the functionalist style and its lamps typical of the 1960s. The nightclub is animated by the most prominent DJs. Concerts by local and international bands.
