Youth hostel chain in the center of town, offering comfort and friendly spaces at a moderate price.

Generator is a youth hostel chain that was founded in 1995 in Great Britain and has moved into the trendy European cities. A concept of moderate price and decoration that makes you want to (here the building was imagined by Philippe Starck), comfort and convivial spaces, (here a petanque bar!) In the centre, it attracts especially young travellers who want to party and meet people. Many events are planned for the residents: parties, concerts, visits, yoga classes. Girls, be aware that dormitories are specially reserved for you!

Auberge très sympa. Les chambres sont fonctionnelles, la partie commune est très jolie, design, toute décorée et conviviale. Il y a même un terrain de pétanque chauffé! Pas testé car nous n'avions déjà pas chaud mais il y a aussi un Ice Bar dans l'auberge! Très bien placée aussi, près du centre et il y a une superette juste en face.

Comme souvent au Danemark, les auberges de ce type sont assez chers mais il faut bien reconnaître que Generator est une sorte d’hôtel de très bonne qualité avec une hygiène et un propreté impeccable.
Le bar (accessible pour les exterieurs également) est un espace de rencontre multiculturel qui offre la possibilité de partager de bons moments autour de jeux sympas (pétanque, billard, jeux vidéos...).
Au sous sol ce trouve également un "ice-bar" que je n'ai pas pu tester.

Wow! Les Scandinaves can accommodate! Frequently to CPH me, I finally found the place to stay to be close to everything without breaking. It is an Auberge de Jeunesse (still that the concept is quite far from the perception that we have), but the staff is very welcoming, warm and the hotel is not particularly noisy. The designer decor and modern bath.
