McJoy's is the Scottish spirit of a pub opened in Nyhavn for sailors from the Highlands. The spirit is so Scottish. Nevertheless, the menu offers a choice that mixes the local (trilogy of marinated herrings) with the British, now international: fish and chips (excellent and copious, by the way!). We liked the cosy terrace, the wind-protected courtyard in the second row and the bar with taps galore on the mezzanine floor. Come for a bite to eat, a drink or a lively evening of music.
