Teo, the owner, began by installing a distillery in the beautiful vaulted cellar, where he produces an award-winning pălincă (traditional fruit brandy). He then fitted out six rooms combining Saxon tradition and modern comfort. They are arranged around a charming courtyard and each has its own character. Teo (who speaks French) will bring you croissants every morning.

Located above the beautiful Boldă de fer antique store, on a quiet street in the citadel, this charming guesthouse has 4 bedrooms, obviously furnished with noble restored furniture and mottled objects. The bathrooms are spacious and modern. The friendly owners are passionate about history, and can tell you all about the house and its objects, as well as the history of the street and the town. Breakfast is served on one of the two pleasant terraces or under the vaulted ceiling, among the antiques.

This guesthouse offers two major advantages: its price and its location, since it's just a hundred meters from the stairs that will take you directly to the citadel. As for the rooms, about ten in all, they are quite small, but very clean and comfortable. There's also a communal kitchen and a pleasant garden to enjoy on sunny days.
