Museum of milling installed on the small course of the Siette presenting a mill wheel and a collection of old tools.

Situated on the small course of the Siette, a tributary of the Tortonne, the Moulin de Marcy, which became a museum in 1986, is the last water mill in Calvados, nestled in a green setting. Agnès and Marc, the guides, detail the mechanical device still in place and the know-how of the millers of yesteryear with a strong demonstration of hoppers and millstones. Sometimes, one can even witness the making of buckwheat flour. Not to be missed, the mill wheel handcrafted by two enthusiasts, as well as a collection of restored old tools.

The mill of Marcy is very pleasant to visit particularly with children. A group of donkeys welcome you and you puvez to walk around the mill that is very well maintained and flowers. It is possible to visit all the stages of transformations of wheat into flour as was done in the countryside at the beginning of the century. Bravoaux people who perpetuate the tradition.
