Le Piraja is a little corner of Rio in São Paulo. Right in the heart of Sampa, it's a haven of peace surrounded by greenery. Visitors come for its famous happy hour and to sample petiscos such as the famous bolinho carioca, a pumpkin fritter topped with meat. Cachaças and caipirinhas are also famous and varied. Guaratiba is prepared with cloves, cinnamon and a special variety of lemon. Tables spread out along the Portuguese-patterned sidewalk, and you might well think you're in Copacabana...
