Estação Julio Prestes is São Paulo's historic railway station, inaugurated in 1930. Today, the station is still in operation and houses the São Paulo Secretariat of Culture and the Sala São Paulo, the concert hall of the state symphony orchestra, the largest in Latin America with 1,500 seats on 1,000m2.
Good to know: about two Sundays a month, you can attend a recital free of charge. Tickets must be collected in advance.
