The Estação Julio Prestes is a historic train station in São Paulo that was inaugurated in 1930. Today the station is still in operation and houses the Secretariat of Culture of São Paulo and the Sala São Paulo, the concert hall of the state symphony orchestra, the largest in Latin America with 1,500 seats on 1,000m2.

Good to know: about two Sundays a month it is possible to attend a recital for free. However, tickets must be collected in advance
