Pejaten is still a small village unknown to tourists, but known to specialists in ceramics, pottery and various glazed objects. From the 1980s onwards, they experimented with new ways of making porcelain, and the village distinguished itself by supplying the big hotels on the south coast, and then the shops all over the world. Made Durya, a ceramist, is the head of the large workshop where about 50 workers are employed. It is possible to visit the workshop
