This peninsula is a miniature Samosir, where most of the island's activity is concentrated. Tuk-Tuk is less than a kilometer long. Its shores are covered with hotels of unequal class, but all are careful to blend into the landscape, adopting distinctive roof shapes. The heights of Tuk-Tuk are covered by a small pine forest, untouched by any construction. As for the guesthouses, they cling to the banks and can intercept guests as they disembark. Although very touristy, the area can be deserted in low season, with barely 30 travellers scattered among the various hotels.
