With its educational tour, sound and light 30 meters below ground and 400 meters of excavated galleries, you'll discover the lake room, the chasm and the slate room, where you'll discover traces of the extraction of the "blue gold of Caumont".

Located in Caumont-sur-Aure, the Souterroscope des Ardoisières is a tourist site offering a fabulous journey underground. Here, enter the skin of a miner and discover four large underground rooms. In the first room, the water table is explained and illustrated by a film on the water cycle. The second room houses a marvelous play of water and light, symbolizing the pact established between man and the mine. The third room teaches the extraction of slate "the blue gold of Caumont". As for the last room, the room of Wonders, it allows you to admire an extraordinary collection of giant crystals and semi-precious stones. A great address for the curious!

En voyant les photos et certains avis, je me suis dit allez on y va il faut voir ça.
Très grosse déception à la sortie néanmoins la dame d'accueil très gentille.
Ensuite vous êtes guidés par des sons et lumières.
Lieu sans âme
On parle bien des ardoises et uniquement les ardoises.
Je ne vous conseille pas d'emmener vos enfants il n'y a aucune attractivité pour eux.
Les deux cavités souterraines sont jolies mais c'est les seules choses jolie.
10 minutes par pièce 4 pièces en tout.
C'est un lieu qui a besoin de progresser dans son tourisme
Cela manque aussi un peu de rangement plusieurs échelles et escabeau qui traînent dans certaines pièces.
