After Tifrit, famous for its waterfalls and basins, the winding road continues its ascent on authentic Berber paths, offering a superb view at sunset on the mountain walls which take on a color between pink and gold, in an almost unreal setting of the end of the world. Then you reach a large plateau and the small reclusive village of Askri. The village of Askri is a small and secluded village, with a store, a gas station and a post office, which contrast with the original wilderness of the site. You will be able to do some shopping there although it seems to be in the middle of nowhere and to refuel, which avoids the breakdown in the desert.
