The ideal museum to discover the artisanal production process of Boucharouite carpets with a guide
The museum owes its name to the boucharouite carpets, a craft manufacturing process, a "piece of cloth" made from recycled fabrics and assembled by the hands of Berber women. In rural areas, often modest, the women recover torn clothes and pieces of wool by expressing their creativity. It is Patrick, at the origin of this project, who will serve as your guide and explain, in a playful way, the universe of this art and the other side of the scene. You will stroll among real colourful paintings to end up on the flowered terrace, in the shade of an olive tree.

Recently discovered, this original museum completely seduced me by its originality, its uniqueness and especially by the personality of Patrick, its creator, who makes you share all Berber symbolic through Boucharouite (Carpets of cabbage leaves) and Zindekh (Rugs on cereal embroidered bags). I'll come back from my stay at the RIad Dar Zaynab.
