Park with charming little lake and playgrounds at the western end of Berlin's Charlottenburg district.

This park at the western end of Charlottenburg is centered around a small, charming lake, surrounded by playgrounds and inviting to stroll around all year round. In summer, the lawns are ideal for sunbathing, and in winter, the frozen pond offers a picturesque setting (this has become less common in recent years). Our tip: sit in the sun on the terrace of the Stella am Lietzensee in the northeast part of the lake with a cold drink in hand.
