Museum retracing the history of music from the 16th century, with over 800 instruments including cymbals, flutes...
The Musical Instrument Museum contains more than 800 instruments that retrace the history of music from the 16th to the 20th century. You will be able to see the cymbals of Johann Sebastian Bach, the favourite flutes of Frederick the Great and a harmonica invented by Benjamin Franklin. On the Saturday after the guided tour starting at 11 am, you can hear the greatest organ in Europe, The Mighty Wurlitzer, play. There are also regular temporary exhibitions on more contemporary music. For music lovers and the curious.
