Inspired by the Notting Hill Carnival in London, this festival is dedicated to all cultures and communities living together in Berlin. Dozens of trucks and hundreds of musicians and dancers form a euphoric and colourful procession that draws thousands of spectators and onlookers into Kreuzberg, Berlin's multicultural district. Numerous food-trucks showcase the world's cuisines. For more than twenty years, this carnival has been celebrating diversity and defending an open society.
