Historical, cosy and romantic hotel with charming retro furnishings and a restaurant in Berlin's Mitte district.
Nomen est omen: Honigmond means "honeymoon" in the language of Goethe. This romantic hotel is located in a beautifully restored late 19th century building in a very central but quiet area. The rooms are bright, comfortable and have a strong character. Enjoy Berlin cuisine in the restaurant of the same name on the ground floor. The Borsig-Eck, the forerunner of the Hotel Honigmond, was a meeting place for intellectuals and artists as well as priests (two churches are nearby) during the GDR era.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer im Stil der 1920er Jahre in sanierten Altbauhäusern, bequeme Betten, saubere Bäder und freundliches Personal. Was will man mehr? Ach ja, Frühstück wäre toll! Das gibt es im Hotel leider nicht. Dafür aber im Restaurant an der Ecke nur 20 Meter weiter. Jedoch leider erst ab 9 Uhr.

I keep searching for the right hotel in Berlin, so far I cannot seem to find it. This hotel is in some old buildings. The rooms are cute, dated, but functional. The bed was hard, but not as bad as some in Germany. There is no HVAC, so good luck keeping the room hot/cold. It's very loud in the hotel and in the courtyard. Glad I had good sleepbuds. Will not be back.

Sehr ruhig, man kann hervorragend schlafen.
Frühstück nur im Partner-Hotel um die Ecke.
