Luxury hotel with wellness centre in a setting outside the centre of Berlin. The setting and décor are worthy of a castle.

A very luxurious address, a little off the beaten track in the upmarket Grunewald district, but well connected to Schöneberg and Charlottenburg. This is the place to be if you're looking for a bit of peace and quiet and a tailor-made service after a long day's sightseeing. The garden is a haven of peace, and the wellness center has everything you need for a perfect moment of relaxation. The rooms are of the highest level of comfort and decorated in a grand, castle-like style.

I have been to this Hotel 13 years ago for the first time, by that time it was marvellous. Service was great, rooms were state of the art you got value for your money. Last weekend we stayed there again and the only thing left over was the great service starting at the check in, service at the bar and ending with the check out. Our room was pre historical, the light in the bathroom dit not work, there were holes in the shades, the toiletries were poor, the carpet and the shower curtain was old I could go on and on.... We stayed in the separated part of the building which is connected by a orangery which was leaking water and felt really old and dusty. 13 years ago this hotel had allure now it felt pretty much like faded glory. But what really pissed me of was the breakfast buffet which you pay a decent amount for. I worked and stayed in 5 star hotels and never ever it happend to me that you had to pay on top for an omelette, scrambled or fried egg. At this hotel they charge you a 10,- euro's extra for that on top of the 39,- euro's you already pay for the mediocre breakfast buffet. Mediocre because the selection is average, the bread is as old as my grandmother, nothing feels fresh. To make this buffet a little sophisticated they serve poor quality macarons and cheap sparkling wine and the coffee... don't get me started. Summary: Won't come as an surprise I am not going to stay here ever again and I hope with my review I will pretend people to stay there as well and pay to much money for not enough value.

10 jaar geleden geslapen. Toen was het echt top. Afgelopen weekend een vergaande glorie. Ik weet niet wat er gebeurd is, maar dit is geen 5 sterren hotel meer waardig. Oude kamers, er wordt geen onderhoud gedaan. Tuinman waarschijnlijk onslagen. Paddestoelen groeien op de sere. Ontbijt kost € 40,00. Ik heb nog nooit zo'n droge krettenbol gegeten. De Service is perfect en ze begrijpen onze kritiek.

Que s'est il passé au Schloss Hotel? Nous y sommes allés dîner et je n'ai jamais vu un service aussi raté.
20 minutes pour nous annoncer que ce que nous avons commandé ce n'était pas possible.
Erreur dans les couverts, on ne m'a pas fait goûter le vin. Une service des plus longs 15 personnes max dans l'enceinte du restaurant.
Un serveur complètement débordé si bien que c'est le barman qui est venu nous servir.
Des curry wurst, des Wiener shitnzel, de la buratta tomates ( hors saison), une soupe insipide des frites congelées de la truffe sans goût... C'est cauchemar en cuisine ....
Que se passe t il ?
Pas un geste évidement et aucune réponse au mail envoyé.
Alors oui c'est beau pour prendre un verre mais cela s'arrête là, Hélas...

Trotz Buchung viele Wochen im voraus, wurde seitens des Hotels die Buchung 2 Wochen vor Anreise rücksichtslos storniert. Angeblich gab es eine kurzfristige exklusiv Buchung des Hotels. Schön für das Hotel, aber als Gast steht man dann blöd da. Das angebliche Partnerhotel hatte nicht annähernd eine Alternative zu bieten. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Entschädigung >> und der Vorauszahlung sind wir dann auch noch hinterher gerannt.
Schlußendlich sind wir dann aber exzellent im Hotel Zoo am Ku'damm untergekommen, welches ich wieder uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann.
