Its generous space recalls the pleasant atmosphere of a loft where you can take your time, and the coffee served is undoubtedly one of the best in the area. All kinds of dishes and drinks are available, including vegan, vegetarian and lactose-free. All dishes are homemade and seasonal. We recommend the vEgg, a sandwich with scrambled tofu and homemade mayo, much appreciated by regulars. Last but not least, the small courtyard at the rear of the building is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet moment overlooking the Jewish Museum.

They call it the egg drop, it's the trendy sandwich that's all the rage on social networks. Apart from some cupcakes for dessert, it's the only dish offered by this new brunch spot. Stuffed between two slices of toasted brioche, a good portion of soft scrambled eggs with a slice of melting cheddar, a secret mayo sauce and, at your choice, bacon, avocado or salmon. Our verdict: an absolute success that lives up to expectations. Beware, even before opening time a line can form at the entrance of the café, so don't wait too long!

Craving a real English breakfast, but you're in Berlin? Don't panic, the Lonely Hearts Café is here. In 2021, Amy and Nic, two English expats, decided to open this little caff to fill their crying need for a good fry-up. On the menu, the classic English breakfast of course, but also well-filled pancakes. Being in Berlin, everything is also available in vegan. If you're feeling particularly greedy, try one of their indecent milkshakes, topped with whipped cream and a cherry, like in the movies!

Brunch, brunch, brunch. You can't get enough of it, in the Kreuz-Neukölln district. In a minimalist and design setting, Sorrel serves refined small plates based on local organic and seasonal products at lunchtime and some evenings; above all, Sorrel bets on the quality of the dishes. Tip: order several plates to share, but don't miss the burrata, basil and lemon confit. Or simply sit on the terrace on a sunny day with a glass of natural wine or a small coffee and a treat.

This brand new restaurant opening in 2023 is unique, specializing in the nutrition of the future: the insect. But don't worry, the menu is of course not all made up of these little legged invertebrates. The ethos of Mikrokosmos is clear, the protection of our environment. The restaurant thus bets on a completely sustainable production by minimizing the delivery circuits and by supplying itself only with organic products resulting from the local agriculture. The concept is certainly very commendable and the execution really successful.
