Historic Jewish cemetery in Worms, with over 2,500 graves, some dating back to the century.

The oldest Jewish cemetery in Europe is in Worms. Nicknamed "Heiliger Sand", this place has more than 2,500 graves, some of which date back to the 11th century. The oldest one is dated 1058. Classified as a Unesco World Cultural Heritage Site, this cemetery is a place full of history. Good to know: male visitors must wear a head covering!
