LUISENPARK

Dating back to 1900, this park south of Mannheim is a green paradise for young and old alike. Many local and exotic plants are preserved here. In addition to the green setting, you can visit a butterfly house, an aviary with exotic birds(Große Vogelvoliere mit Storchennes) and a small animal park with penguins.

You can also take a gondola ride on the lake running through the park, or explore the Asian gardens. For a short break, there's a bistro in the middle of the park.
