Without a doubt the biggest (and biggest!) attraction. Ask anyone in town where the big barrel is located and they will tell you! This container, built by Prince Karl Theodor in 1751, can hold up to 221,726 liters of wine! It has been filled 3 times in its history; the tax was levied on the production of the inhabitants, and the region is essentially wine-producing... Enough to make the dwarf Perkeo dream, who watches over the entrance of the room, with a glass in his hand..

Je ne dirai pas que c'est la plus grosse attraction de la ville mais ce tonneau est impressionnant! Quand on sait (grâce à la visite du château dans lequel il se trouve) que les gens buvaient 2l de vin par jour à l'époque, on comprend pourquoi ils avaient besoin d'un si grand tonneau! N'hésitez pas à monter dessus.
