BUNDESHAUS
House of Deputies, now home to the offices of UN agencies, Unesco, the WTO and the education agency.
At 114 m, the House of Parliament was for a long time the tallest building in the city, until it was overtaken by the new Deutsche Post tower nearby. Its corridors and offices were used for daily parliamentary work and administrative tasks in the days of the FRG. A typical building of the 1960s, its architectural merits are rather hazy. Today, it houses the offices of UN agencies, parts of Unesco and the WTO, and German education agencies, among others.
