PHILHARMONIE DE COLOGNE

Just a stone's throw from the cathedral, in a rather austere contemporary building that also houses the Ludwig Museum collections, the Cologne Philharmonie offers a rich program of classical concerts and opera every month. Occasionally, international artists also perform here, outside the usual classical program. Tip: some events are free of charge, such as the"PhilharmonieLunch", where you can have lunch while enjoying the orchestra's rehearsals.
