Small wooden chalets, candles and garlands, the smell of roasted almonds and mulled wine... a magical atmosphere. The Christmas market in Aachen is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. 1er marché de l'année dans cette très belle ville d'Aix. Produits artisanaux : bougies, bijoux, cuir, déco, .... ambiance de Noël assurée avec décoration de circonstance, éclairage sobre d'un blanc chaud sur les sapins et dans les rues, senteur de pain d'épices et de cannelle ! Surtout des échoppes bien fournies de galettes de pommes de terre + compote, de tartes flambées, de beignets de poisson et de vin chaud ! Très agréable moment mais attention fermeture dès 21 h !

Excellent souvenir de ces marchés de Noël à l'ombre de l'hôtel de ville et de la cathédrale. Beaucoup de parkings couverts tout autour du centre historique. Les chalets de bois sont vastes, garnis de sapin naturel. On y trouve bien plus d'artisanat que dans bien d'autres . Graveur sur verre, sur faïence, chapeaux, gants, montages de fleurs parfumées à la cannelle, bijoux, liqueurs originales... Une chorale de grande qualité perchée sur les marches de l'hôtel de ville nous rappelaient les chants venus du fond des âges... Restauration originale aussi, quels parfums... A voir et revoir...
