BURG DANKWARDERODE - DANKWARDERODE CASTLE

The Burg Dankwarderode castle, founded by Henri the Lion in the th century and mainly renaissance, has very beautiful interiors. It houses the part of the Anton Ulrich Museum devoted to medieval art. The visit takes us in the footsteps of the Grand Duke of Saxony and the golden age of the Middle Ages in Lower Saxony through the secular and religious arts.
