The Kunsthalle is the art museum of Kiel.
The Kunsthalle zu Kiel collection includes paintings, sculptures, prints and photographs from a variety of periods, with a particular focus on the 19th and 20th centuries. Among the highlights are Expressionist paintings by Emil Nolde and Gerhard Richter. You'll also discover works from German Impressionism, the Northern Expressionist school and New Objectivity (Neue Sachlichkeit). Since the end of 2023, the Kunsthalle has been closed for renovation. The collection can be viewed online.

Un beau panorama de l'art allemand de 1870 à nos jours. De belles œuvres contemporaines respectables et des peintures expressionnistes solides. En illustration : Une nature morte aux fleurs de Georg Meistermann (1911-1990); Belle collectons de statues en plâtre !
